When midnight mists are creeping
And all the land is sleeping
Around me tread the mighty dead
And slowly pass away…

Classic and beautiful.
I love the mood and these twisted roots.

To trust our roots first, making them firm again. Beautiful place & mono. Let it sleep the time it needs, might be a strengthening necessary job and the roots here are so strong i'm confident with the flourishing new green leaves on their way up & ahead.

Time feels to move slowly in places like this . . and, without color, even the seasons merge as one . . Lovely photowork.

Beautiful picture. There is a dark structure to the right, placed almost perfectly according to the rule of thirds. This, combined with the twisted roots in the foreground, gives the photo a somewhat disturbing feeling.
