dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Statesthis brings back childhood memories i never had! :) beautiful and touching, i am reminded of innocence and intrigue -- all the mysteries of the world and the insatiable quest for adventure! the trust, the bonds of early friendship and the long warm summer nights that seemed to never end -- gorgeous time capsule here!! simply amazing! 25 Jul 2008 6:24am @dj.tigersprout: Thanks dj.tigersprout. funny, I had the same feeling when I came across this scene. Of course I saw the entire way it looked, full bodies and surrounded by other activity. But it was this portion that caught my eye and brought me back to my childhood, not knowing why and still don't. They seemed to be the best of friends, and although they did not linger long, I was lucky to be able to capture that moment as they stood there looking out onto the ocean before they moved on... fcofont from Valencia, Spainexcellent picture, I love the composition and the high contrast such a characteristic of yours, brilliant! 25 Jul 2008 6:29am @fcofont: Thanks so much fcofont! I have a love of high contrast, and one might even include 'drama' as well. Vink from French riviera - Grasse, FranceVery nice ! Perfect. 25 Jul 2008 9:29pm Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaFantastic work! The effect of the B&W coupled with the silhouette really strikes the eye. What an eye you have! This is the second shot I have seen of children's legs on Am3 and both have really captivated me. I just don't think of taking photos in this way. Truly insprational thanks. I'm off to change the way I am looking at things today! 25 Jul 2008 9:44pm SKHallisey from Montreal, Canadanice shadows, the give a great touch to the silhouette. well done 26 Jul 2008 12:00am Mike from United StatesI really like the composition of this. You edited the image down to the simple element needed to portray a feeling. Really nice one. 26 Jul 2008 4:19am @Mike: Thanks so much Mike. I was lucky with the light (soft) when I came across them all standing there. Their legs against the iron fence with that light, I knew that was what I wanted :) sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesI love this. Makes me wonder what fun they're up to. The greyscale was an excellent choice for this. 27 Jul 2008 7:03pm Vink from Grasse - French riviera, FranceVery nice composition ! a very great shot ! Bravo Maestro ! 28 Sep 2008 6:42pm |
