Matt Sutton from Sydney, Australiawow you see life in a completely different dimension. you are a real gateway into another world of images and visuals that stretch my mind. truly a pleasure you are !! 26 Jul 2008 5:19am @Matt Sutton: ...well my mother always said I was an odd child. Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainThis shadow and the b/w edition make a very strong image, The composition suggests this moments of insecure conscience of limits between reality and dream/unreality. 26 Jul 2008 5:23am @Paco Díaz: Thank you very much Paco! My feeling when this opportunity to shoot happened was indeed the feeling of insecurity...being afraid to venture further into the world for fear of the unknown. Ekaputra Tupamahu from Malang, IndonesiaInteresting image... it looks scary though! hehehe... well done man! 26 Jul 2008 5:40am @Ekaputra Tupamahu: Hey...thanks so much! Vincent Bertrand from Montréal, CanadaTo me, this shadow has a funny look that does not make me feel insecure at all. I like how you turn it to the side... it takes an surrealistic form. 26 Jul 2008 6:35am @Vincent Bertrand: Thank you Vincent! I like that people can get different things from this and I guess, like art, it's subjective :) Vink from French riviera - Grasse, FranceOriginal and strange shadow ! Great b&w treatment 26 Jul 2008 8:57am @Vink: Many thanks :) @António Pires: Hmmmmm....yes perhaps. @eddy: Thank you Eddy! Pep Mir from SpainIt almost scares, the atmosphere taht you have obtained is magnificent. 26 Jul 2008 12:32pm ruben latre from Terrassa, SpainWoow your whole portfolio it's so awesome !! I'm so impress with your work !! I really like your post today, it seems like a shadow on the moon !! Excellent one !! Looking forward to see more of your work !! 26 Jul 2008 12:55pm António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalSorry, in my previous comment where I said youth I'd like to say childhood (at? of?), well, the kind of fears we experienced when we were a child. 26 Jul 2008 1:10pm Gnarf from Stockholm, SwedenThis is truly a dark image in several meanings. Unrealistic and scary... Very cool! 26 Jul 2008 5:34pm Brian from Seattle, United StatesReally love the ominous feel coming from this photo. Nice work! 26 Jul 2008 8:50pm @Brian: Thanks Brian...cheers to you :) Nataly from Santa Monica, United StatesI must tell you, Sharon that I think about your work even when I`m not in front of "my beloved MAC." You see what most of us would pass by without even noticing. And those things matter. They are part of our life and existence which by nature we prefer to ignore to avoid extra complications. I don`t mean complications in a bad way, just something extra that would take us away from our ideal simple and predictable lives. I am guilty of it myself a lot of times. And it`s great to see your images that take me away from the surface and point at what`s underneath. 27 Jul 2008 5:41am dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Stateswow -- beware of the Chupacabra! yikes! X-files returns! (and didn't it start showing this weekend?) what a wonderful dark shot -- as i always say, your use of shadows is truly extraordinary! you are a shadow master! such weight this has! and the dark grain and textures... truly magnificent -- truly brilliant -- bravo!! 28 Jul 2008 2:19am |
