15 Sep 2008 7:18pm Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaIs this Stanley Park? Is it raining, it must be, it's Vancouver. Wonderful treatment in b&w. Love your emotion packed pictures. 15 Sep 2008 7:29pm @Marion: Thanks Marion! It was along the seawall, just outside of the park. Oddly enough no, there was not a drop of rain in sight. In fact it was a bright (and hot) sunny day. Funny, that ;) António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalI've been looking at this photo and I can't make a comment on it. Rather I'm constantly trying to find an interpretation for the whole set (or at least those I've seen) of your b&w pictures. Probably there are as many interpretations as people trying to interpret them and may be none of them corresponds to what you want to say though photography or what you felt when taking the photos. But the fact that your photos urge an interpretation is surely a sign of their artistic quality. 15 Sep 2008 8:26pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesThe shoes are great. Inconspicuous, well... that umbrella grabs attention. But it's a great and ambiguous puzzle of a photograph, which I like very much (and your previous week or so of BWs). 16 Sep 2008 1:25am |
