This image today is my contribution to the "My Special Place" challenge from the oh-so-lovely Kylie Greenan. Thanks for this Kylie...great challenge!
Lost Lagoon is a place I go to gather my thoughts, and take in the sights and sounds of nature. It's a great escape from the city, but still within the city itself...not to mention a splash of colour for the usual dark and brooding :-)

It's beautiful. Yet, characteristically you have managed to take this scene of quiet beauty and add just a touch of tension with those impending clouds on the horizon. A promise of stormy weather to come? Maybe. Maybe not. Classic BC excellence.

Indeed it is a beautiful place and I thank you, but I really give all credit to Mother Nature and this incredible light that came from between the clouds on a late afternoon last weekend. I just happened to be there with a camera and tripped the shutter.
