Picture perfect! =) 15 Dec 2008 7:08am 6ft5 from Stockholm, SwedenI´ve said it before: You are a genius. Everything here is perfect. The silhouettes, the white jacket, the postures, the textures. 15 Dec 2008 7:27am Vink from Grasse - French riviera, FranceNice attitude of the man with superb silhouettes in the background ! 15 Dec 2008 7:52am k@ from Paris, FranceWhite facing black, solitude facing a group of 4 - but together they could be like 5 fingers friends maybe ? Seems we are under the hat of that white man and so close to his thoughts and desires... Great human eye (as usual at your place !) 15 Dec 2008 7:58am dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Stateshello BC!!! i am back! :) hope everything has been well with you!! can't wait to get caught up on all that i missed!!! an excellent composition here of course -- love the framing and the white smooth appeal of the down jacket!! of course -- we truly are alone, each and every one of us!!! and only in realizing that do we realize we can choose to 'be there' for each other. wonderfully put, and presented!! great to be back -- bravo!!! 15 Dec 2008 7:58am @rain girl: Thank you. It's because I feel we are all really alone in this world. Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaYou have certainly captured the feel of the outsider in this fine image. 15 Dec 2008 1:13pm dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaYou really do have an eye for captures like this - it's a unique talent. Beautifully done. 15 Dec 2008 1:16pm António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalHe looks and only sees shadows, lives outside his life. 15 Dec 2008 2:26pm browneyes from Kanagawa, JapanWhat a beautiful soft blurred silhouette over there! Hello hello, ms light magician. Well seen. Excellent contrast and bokeh. 15 Dec 2008 3:26pm EYES WIDE SHUT from The valleys of tranquility, United KingdomA superb image. Shades of ominous menace in the four silhouettes, are they friend or foe. 15 Dec 2008 3:42pm Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumpoignant image - I really how the others are silhouetted and almost alien like - great perspective and composition over the shoulder as well 15 Dec 2008 4:17pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThe perfect composition. The tones in the image are really nice too. Well done as always. 15 Dec 2008 4:40pm beanow from PolandAmazing images, full possibilities of interpretative. Prefect compo. I love it! 15 Dec 2008 7:19pm Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesThis is a most compelling image. I could easily see it as a lead-in photo to a piece in 'Psychology Today'. This is a perfect 'stock' image and technically spot-on. I had to go to Napster to look up who brought that title to Top-40 fame. I had completely forgotten the presence of Gilbert O. Sullivan - yet there he was and it was his. There is a metaphor about fame in this I believe. Cheers. Perhaps in this case, 'blue' cheers... 15 Dec 2008 8:33pm vu@granby Gilles Martineau from Granby, Québec, CanadaYour picture is a strong message, Bravo! 15 Dec 2008 8:39pm grant from kansas city, United Statesgreat photo. (i like your picture better than that old song!) 15 Dec 2008 9:14pm JJ from Jersey City, United StatesAnother brilliant capture, he sits there alone and one wonders why as the silhouettes of others are there to see 16 Dec 2008 12:25am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaThe body language, the light and the distance between the subject and the shadowy background figures makes this an exceptional image. Everything comes together to tell a story. 16 Dec 2008 7:27am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesSeems a simple shot, but something I really like about this one. 16 Dec 2008 2:38pm Lorraine from Gatineau, Canadamy heart so badly broken.....I love the song, I love the photo, I hate that I couldn't get into Aminus yesterday afternoon, alone again...naturally , snif ;) 16 Dec 2008 2:54pm Sean from Champaign, United StatesThis outsider's point of view works so well here. Nice work. 17 Dec 2008 3:09am |
