There's no doubt about it, winter is here to stay. Not sure if I'd rather have the falling snow or the bits of icy rain and chilling winds that we have now.

Wow, cool shot. I really like the grainy old feel to it, gives it so much added atmosphere. The cold snowed down cars leading the eye to the lights of a car coming towards you.

You've create a wonderful atmosphere to the image which really reinforces the cold, bleak nature of the scene. And yet, so darn beautiful at this time of year, too.
Our clan in Sidney, BC phoned last night and reported six foot drifts which is rare there, and the kids are loving it ha ha
Sadly, for us this Christms they promise overcast and miserable!!

@EYES WIDE SHUT: We don't usually get this kind of weather here, and it's usual to have cold, overcast and rain. But I'm very happy with our cold and snowy day. The driving conditions of course leave something to be desired, but we all learn to manage.

Beautiful shot, Sharon! Make me feel like I am in this frame and being dragged by the moving car towards the other side and out of it.
And at the same time this image brings memories from my childhood, when in order to get a clear picture on the TV screen you had to bang on it for some time. Well, here I would not want to clear the grain. Let the snow fall...
