paper doves in flightPosted by bluechameleon (Vancouver, Canada) on 30 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. As usual, a superb job of post-processing. Terrific quote by Jung. He also maintained that our capacity to integrate these opposites was essential to being whole. 30 Dec 2008 6:20am Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceI totally agree with the quote... even if sometimes i would like to feel happy constantly.... 30 Dec 2008 7:25am Angel from Madrid, Spainbeautiful image. The processing of the black and white one is spectacular. Greetings 30 Dec 2008 8:27am k@ from Paris, FranceThe bright white gives that ghostly mood I like a lot. White needs black that needs white, day/night, Life/Death, and so on for our balance... I agree so much, and we live much better accepting this instead of fighting it... 30 Dec 2008 8:31am e m i l l a m o l a from Barcelona, SpainEncantado de descubrirte. I am not sure of what I see. Looks like a painting 30 Dec 2008 3:42pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongBeautiful picture of peace and words of wisdom! Enjoy your pic (and also Steve Rice's) so much that I've decided to post a birds pic of mine tomorrow, notwithstanding that it's nothing close to yours.:-) 30 Dec 2008 3:51pm EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomThe freedom of flight, the ability to soar above the ground below, to ride the thermals for the sheer joy of life, to take off at will and land wherever I want. To feel the wind in my face, to crash land on the sandy shores, the world as my private landing strip, my oasis. I dream of flying, I yearn it, I'm envious of the birds. This is a dream of a shot, beautifully observed and presented. 30 Dec 2008 4:06pm Vink from Grasse - French riviera, FranceUn envol sublime et majestieux qui prend tout son ampleur dans ce décor enneigé ! Fantastique ! 30 Dec 2008 4:15pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesBeautiful image; love the textures. You've taken your artistry up a notch (if that's possible since your images are already perfection). 30 Dec 2008 5:13pm Pixim from Nice, FranceI like much the photographs of birds of the back, the impression to follow them, be in flight with them. The treatment is very well carried out, and one does not see sky, simply this line of trees at the background. Of course, Carl rightly when these words are addressed to children or patients, but let us dream to leave these perpetual passages of the white to the black, and the black to the white. I dream of a way of the medium where all is appeasing (Yes, yes, that can exist on ground…) Moreover "Jonathan" is not any more with them, it is except field of the apparatus. Excuse me for the digression, your photograph is very beautiful and pleasing for the reflexion Bravo ;) 30 Dec 2008 5:45pm james from portland, United StatesWorld of opposites, cold and hot, flight and flightless, we all need constast in life to know what the other side means. Nice story and image. 30 Dec 2008 5:52pm Alphons from Kaatsheuvel, NetherlandsBeautiful graphic picture. Very strong by processing.
