A challenge from The Electroblog
I'm throwing down a little challenge here. It's a theme for the first 3 days of February and I hope to have your participation. We've done this before and it's always a lot of fun.
But this time, let's try something different: I'd like you to spend 3 days posting your best street photography in black and white. Street photography is generally understood to include images taken (usually - though not necessarily - of people) in a candid public setting such as a sidewalk, often with a normal to wide angle lens.
So if you're interested, get out there and capture some decisive moments! If you are interested in participating, let me know through my contact link and I will add your name to the list when it's time.

As always, Sharon, you offer the viewer so many possibilities with storyline and significance. The etheral setting, the delicious darkness and foreboding mist, my mind's off on a ramble into a realm of possibility. Beautifully shot and presented, elegant and classy..... why does that not surprise me when it's one of yours.

Beautiful atmosphere. I love how the somewhat everyday scene (a person walking her dogs) blends into a setting of mystery, with the fog on the path ahead. Cool stuff :)

Nice image. Very dark mood...but yet it is not scary. I think if the woman were without her dogs there would be a very different mood to this. Amazing how an element can change the mood.

Oh I just joined Aminus3 or else I would love to participate. I have very few hours for "playing" with the camera these days. For now I will just float around and enjoy the pictures.
I like this setting. It looks mysterious but yet a peaceful place to walk. A romantic setting. I can visualize two lovers right around the corner holding hands. I can see an old man sitting on a park bench somewhere along the trail.

Your figures are mostly dark, faceless, only showing their backs, walking into a mist, or contemplating something more than the weather, it feels like frail emotions.
