@Marcah: Thank you! I don't disagree, this would not be as I envisioned without the fog. I stood in that position for a long time, like a vulture waiting for a couple of people to cross the street :)

What a wonderfully atmospheric scene, Sharon. The morning fog so beautifully contrasting against the overhead power lines, and the street lights lined up as if ready for a race. Fabulous detail. And the daily thoughts of office block tedium possibly flitting across the minds of commuters who pass by each day at the same time in completely different worlds.

The fog llluminates the scene and adds depth and mistery. I like very mucg the angle of the view and the composition with the two people in the sides of the photo.

One of my favorites, Sharon. I grew up in a city with buses that depended on lines like that overhead. I like how the misty fog is subtly shielding it from view.

Very clever image Sharon, you have picked a fabulous site for this. The road disapearing , cars emerging the overhead wires, being able to read the street sign and of course the people huddled against the cold and damp fog. Love it!

There's something about this that draws me into it. It seems very early morning to me, cold and just before the rush. I don't see early morning much.. maybe that's why I'm fascinated by it? Anyway... if you get a viewer to pause, it's a good shot and this is one.

This has got so much going for it ... intricate lines from wires, poles, trees ... great atmosphere ... and the grayness punctuated by car headlights and silhouetted figures. Caught my eye straight off. Excellent b&w!

great use of the almost-blind rise to capture the silhouetted pedestrian walking suspended through the ghost-like traffic. I love the atmosphere in this shot and the many lines - bus line, power lines, traffic lights, lines on the street, lines in the skywalk. great composition!
