Whispy clouds are a fave, though I can rarely resist the urge to make them black and white. This one works well in colour. 6 Mar 2009 1:36pm 613photo from Dallas, United StatesI really hate to say this but I've left so many positive comments on your site I feel I can say what I really think with this one. I can see it in black and white and it's much better. Saturate the blues and use a red filter. Sky would have been close to black with great contrast between it and the clouds. It wouldn't be as dark as the treeline so you'd have some differentiation there. Don't take this as a negative review for the sake of being negative. I'm not saying it's awful or anything. One of the reasons I critique is because it makes me think about my own photography. 6 Mar 2009 1:50pm @613photo: Thanks for your thoughts...I appreciate your comment and I will most definitely try this in black and white as my curiosity is peaked :) I am here to learn and hopefully grow, so any and all comments and critiques are appreciated. This is such a gorgeous image, and beautifully presnted in all it's colourful glory. Have a wonderful weekend 6 Mar 2009 3:16pm Ian from A tranquil leafy place, United KingdomThe black and white will devalue that wonderful soft white against the blue - I mean, you even have pink in there and that's really gorgeous. I dig the colour more I think ;-) 6 Mar 2009 3:24pm BoB from Milano, ItalyI like the silhouette in the foreground and the clear sky. very nice and relaxing composition 6 Mar 2009 4:11pm Lee from Fort Frances Ontario, CanadaVery well captured and presented.
