You can't know how much I agree with this fab quote and your illustration... Yes, simple life and we, photographers, know that so well : the present is the nest of happy times we should enjoy in the details... Love how these girls come towards us, their cool air, hands in their pockets, sipping while strolling.... love the scene and the quote you chose. so many small details that make this capture fascinating, one girl enjoying her coffee, the other one looking back at something or someone, i wonder what's her point of interest, and the cool building in the background, creating dynamics. very nice :)

Lovely girls, friends of yours? I can never shoot directly into strangers' face out in the open, unless I'm using a zoom lens from far away...but then the back ground will all be blurry...
I think stereo type exists in our everyday life. If you were a man taking such a picture you might get different reactions from the girls, unless of course you were Brad Pitt... :-)
Interesting building, I like the colonnade that wraps aroung the side of the building, what and where is it?

@Ti: Thank you Ti :) No, I have no idea who they are, and I saw them coming and took a photo. Surprisingly enough being female at times does not help me with reactions from people as I photograph them. Trust me...
