rhys from PeruI'm really liking these colour works. The sweeping arc of the lights makes a cracking composition- brilliant! 7 Aug 2009 5:30am Ivar from Indianapolis, United StatesNice, very filmlike qualities... and aged as well. 7 Aug 2009 5:44am @Ivar: Thanks so much Ivar....it is film :) k@ from Paris, FranceReminds me when I was a little girl, my dad drove his car, and from the back seat, my cheek stuck to the glass, I discovered the buildings and cityscape this way, my eyes up and my face trembling a little due to the movement on the road... Thks for the memories, with those colors close to dreams ~ 7 Aug 2009 5:57am Anina from Auckland, New ZealandCool angle! 7 Aug 2009 6:03am Alex from Barcelona, SpainUna perspectiva diferente, muy lograda... el tono me gusta muchisimo. 7 Aug 2009 10:55am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWell done, very different, very dyzzying...whoah...what a ride ;) 7 Aug 2009 11:41am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaThis is a bit different for you, Sharon. Seems like an extension of your style. The perspective, vignetting and tones, though, give this the same aura of mystery that we're accustomed to seeing in your black and white work. 7 Aug 2009 11:56am @Andrew Gould: Thank you Andrew. Yes, it is a series of shots I have taken with my new Lomo LC-A camera. So yes, it is indeed different :) jeff (aka dogilicious) from Millerstown, PA, United StatesGreat perspective. Love the lomo. I just ordered a Holga - my first lomo camera. 7 Aug 2009 12:27pm @jeff (aka dogilicious): Thanks Jeff! Oh! I can't wait to see your Holga shots and you are going to have fun. It's kind of a liberating feeling shooting with a Holga. P J W Miller from Chase Terrace, United Kingdomnicely angled and framed image, converging verticals work here 7 Aug 2009 12:38pm Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaGreat perspective on this shot Sharon! Terrific. 7 Aug 2009 11:29pm Hiro from Kyoto, JapanYou like lomo very much, no ? I enjoyed this special atmosphere. What does "x-processed" mean ? 7 Aug 2009 11:57pm @Hiro: Thank you Hiro :) Yes, I have been enjoying my lc-a very much. I look forward to processing the black and white film that is in the camera now. X-processing means that the film was cross processed. Instead of the usual C41 process used for negative film, the process was E3 which is used for slide film. That gives those wacky colours. John Masters from Durham, United StatesFantastic - I love the color and the angle! 8 Aug 2009 12:25am Mindy | f-stopMarin from United StatesLove how the curves and lines relate here. Great geometry, color and effect. 8 Aug 2009 4:56am The Factory from SwitzerlandI like the arch as a frame and the wide angle distortion. I noticed at right a little piece of the reflected building, which is a brilliant idea, to my opinion, creating a second diagonal (after the traffic light). 8 Aug 2009 12:50pm Jaol from Canarias+Asturias, SpainBrilliantly composed and framed. A fantastic urban shot. 8 Aug 2009 8:38pm Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomGreat sweeping angle of the traffic signals. 9 Aug 2009 6:26pm Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesBeautiful cross-processing. I like the curving traffic light, bring attention to the middle of the frame. 9 Aug 2009 8:59pm |
