@browneyes: Thanks so much browneyes! I watcher her for a long time. She just sat and stared at what was going on around her. The people that were with her spoke to her, but she never responded. After a bit they rolled her away and I wondered what she might have been thinking...
I love this ... particulary the B&W. Your title is perfect.

the gesture of this old man/woman is very interesting... yes how hollow and empty can a look be... the tranquility and silence is truly felt in his/her look... :)

I saw so many of your photos from the beginning, each one is a piece of art because so rich with emotion and for me, this is art, no other definition... i stop here tonight cause this one brought tears. Ah Life, such a magnificient terrible & terrific stuff :) Have a nice everything, Sharon ~
