Good urban photo. I like the b/w and this blur background with all the urban signs and the girl walking towards us. The main subject is looking at the same things we are. For me it's a good photo.

@Paco Díaz: Gracias Paco! I'm pleased that you see what I saw, and what he is also seeing :)
i love this idea of urban sprawl... symbols everywhere -- lights, moving machinery, telephone poles, highway signs, advertisements for all manners of things -- without knowing it we have moved into and through the information age -- and we are already beginning to leave it, moving at a speed so fast it is nearly impossible for any of us to keep up. in an era of disposable lives this is a strong message regarding commitment to self, society and preservation of spirit -- and which side of the fence you find yourself on. prophetically enigmatic and brilliant! (p.s. is this the back of a female by chance?) :)

@dj.tigersprout: Thanks so much for your comment, and for 'getting' this! My take on your thoughts, and this scene in particular is this: yes, moving through this information age at such a rapid rate. Wanting to escape it to some degree, but we are unable to without alienating ourselves from the rest of society, from the rest of the proverbial rats caught in the same race. It's like you can't have a quiet mind because everywhere you look there is something calling to us in one way or another, with one medium or another. How do we connect with each other as humans these days? It seems so rare to meet on the street by chance...but then up ahead is a woman coming toward him (that is a 'he' by the way), but still, what are the chances of making that connection amongst all the chaos? An urbann love story, a chance meeting or maybe no meeeting at all, maybe just 2 more strangers that pass by each other...
Gah! I think too much :)
