This is what I call BC art! You always capture such mystery in the commonest of scenes!

What a wonderful array of scattered chairs and tables creating such wonderful patterns. Your vantage point has me wondering where you were:-)

Geometric loveliness. Captures the tenor of city life.

This image bears a certain similarity to the one of the 2nd July. May be due to the point-of-view, from an upper level. People are there, but not real people, rather shadows of people, anonymous, indifferent.

@António Pires: Ah yes, I see what you are saying, indeed it is the point of view. You will probably notice that I am drawn to figures, shapes, fragments and shadows. Thank you António :)
I'm not sure why but Simon and Garfunkel's "The Sounds of Silence" came to mind. Fantastic image BC!!

@amy: Thanks so much Amy! I wanted this to feel as if time had suddenly stopped, standing still. I would imagine if that were to happen, there might be silence.
Stellar shot. I love the point of view and the angles. Wonderful contrast.

I like how the top empty table seems to be the center-point of your picture, surrounded by what I'd call "nameless people". Sorta gives the table a personality of its own, but it does not feel lonely. Just by itself, with a ray of light a nice shadow. The tiles of the floor act like counterpoint, enabling great perspective. Strong B&W, as usual (great!). I love this picture. I'll keep staring at it a little more, if you don't mind!
