@Linerberry: Thanks so much. All I did was pan the seagull as it was landing (or taking off, can't remember which) and then converted to black & white and added a tone. That's it :)
Soft - yet lovely and full of the energy of flight. Very nicely done.

this morning when my brain wasn't awake yet, I thought the pigeon was flying upside down and it was its reflection in the water :-)) so, great image !

just wonderful BC -- i am sorry to be so late commenting here -- this shot really moved me and i began to write a quick prose piece in response to this magical shot for you last week -- of course, it still hasn't been finished, like i was hoping it would for tonight. so for now, please just let me say that is a wonderfully evocative shot and i am working on a short 'poetic' bit of prose because of it! hopefully i re-find my path and complete it soon!! i hope to be back posting tomorrow!! til then! :)
