I love this - what is that effect you put on here? Its like from a movie still or something or like the dark side tv show.

I desaturated the colour and did some dodging, burning and blurring. I use a soft focus filter when shooting sometimes as well.
Excellent image. The perfect composition to set such a mood. Does this have the orton effect. Whatever, it is wonderful.

@Marcah: Thanks Marcah :) No, I don't know how to do the orton effect, I guess it's similar to this though. I am pleased that you like it.

Hello Sharon, didn't receive your visit for a few days - I miss it ! :) Love that pic, reflections and quality - and the couple is the detail that give the landscape its scale, increasing even more the scene ! Great one (once more - but I don't get used to it ;o) Nice w-e....

I spent a moment visiting, I hesitated and I choose this one because I like it, the snow on the trees with the couple give a long, long fairy tale... This image could be made with IR film.
