Nice street scene, looks like a model village!
13 Jan 2009 8:26am
Precious image, Good resistance of the color of the buildings along with the target of the snow. The curve that produces the channels divides the image perfectly.
13 Jan 2009 8:40am
nice composition, I like the coloured wall in front of us and the blue spot in the center of the pic
13 Jan 2009 9:06am
The complex reflections of the buildings complement the simple scene in the foreground quite well, adding interest to the capture.
13 Jan 2009 9:26am
This is so well seen. Fantastic lines in this composition. The quote goes with it excellently.

Great compo Sharon. An invitation to travel.

Great tones, softened by snow, love the mood you created here...
13 Jan 2009 12:54pm
Nice shot. The white space of the snow really sets off the colors of the buildings and railroad cars.

Great colors here, the browns and rusts are my favorite. Very cool (cold :) ) composition too, the snow untouched except for the tracks. The quote is also inspiring.

13 Jan 2009 9:58pm
This looks like something constructed from a play set. Beautiful capture- it's captured a sense of openness as well as the claustrophobic feeling generated by the close-set buildings.
13 Jan 2009 10:16pm
great Sharon. the buildings look like spectators around an ice-snow rink. this image through its great compression looks almost mathematical yet free and natural.
13 Jan 2009 11:44pm
Oh, I remember seeing this place on one of your images. And it`s awesome to see it looking so different. Great place to photograph. Looks like a miniature rail station.

I like Jack's word :) This is an awsome place, I already saw it.
Brilliant composition, half way up but without horizon.
15 Jan 2009 8:54pm
Neat location. The quote makes me think of the movie Donnie Darko, where Donnie, looking into a mirror, is told by a mysterious voice, "you can do anything you want, and so can I," meaning something quite different, I think, than what Kerouac intended.
