I certainly don't want to turn away from the world of your photograph. This is absolutely stunning! "an occasion to breathe"; it takes my breath away.

Fascinating work. The lighting and London like fog makes it for me. A beautiful composition. If I let my imagine wonder I can think back to Jack The Ripper or the wolf man.
12 Feb 2009 5:44am
So beautiful. I don't know that I've ever taken a walk in the fog. We don't have fog that often except in the mountains. I find it peaceful. Love the disappearing sidewalk.
12 Feb 2009 5:48am
Wonderful shot. Love the fog, adds a little mystery to it.
12 Feb 2009 5:52am
Very calming image and it really depicts a time to 'breath' and take a break from the world as we know it!!

I see someone else is having fog! Wonderful shot - perfect framing.
12 Feb 2009 7:26am
Where's Jack the Ripper? What a scary place. The mist, the darkness, you've got it all going here. The composition is great. Love it.
12 Feb 2009 7:38am
Beautiful how the path turns in that foggy wonderful atmosphere. Either I turn or... I jump - both very inviting. To choose is the key... *Love so much your world*
12 Feb 2009 8:06am
Also looks kind of spooky to me as well that fog sets the mood very well !!
12 Feb 2009 9:05am

12 Feb 2009 9:34am
Yes, there, we can breathe, at least... ! An open space to the sky...
12 Feb 2009 9:57am
looking into your artwork Sharon is like straying into a real dream
12 Feb 2009 10:13am
That black so intense. And as it contrasts with the smoothness of that fog of the bottom.
Greetings
12 Feb 2009 10:26am
Your black and white photography is of very high quality especially the ones with the fog/mist.

Superbe atmosphère! J'adore!!!! Excellente image!
12 Feb 2009 12:53pm
l'ombre et le brouillard qui gagnent, les silhouettes fantomatiques des arbres, image sauvage et rude qui crée une atmosphère irréelle et emplie de la magie des contes pour faire peur.. superbe effet ..
12 Feb 2009 1:36pm
Bags of atmosphere. Looks a little ominous for a walk.
12 Feb 2009 1:46pm
As those magnificent trees cross over the footpath and head on down towards the land below for a chat and a bit of exercise, we are left with such a scene of tranquility and calm. Serenly beautiful, and a wonderful observation so superbly presented, Sharon. Like a fairytale scene
12 Feb 2009 1:47pm
I love the way the path disappears into the atmosphere. Like walking into a dream. Well done.
12 Feb 2009 2:02pm
This is such a mysterious yet lovely world that one can hardly resist... As always, your tone, lighting and composition are amazing!
12 Feb 2009 2:58pm
There is something about fog and mist that I find very soothing. Lovely capture.
12 Feb 2009 3:05pm
I really love this. A sense that our vision gives us clarity for where we are at any given moment even if we cannot see where our path leads in the future.
12 Feb 2009 3:08pm
Going out of the world means going into ourselves. The world is beyond the fog, the trees are our boundary.
12 Feb 2009 3:24pm
really good composition with the slope which take half of the pic and the mist giving mystery to the landscape
12 Feb 2009 3:51pm
another really breathtaking, yet somewhat mysterious image. Love the composition a lot and the processing as well.
12 Feb 2009 5:27pm

12 Feb 2009 6:39pm
Amazing scene! I like the way you cant see whats over the hill or where the road leads to. Its up to the viewer to imagine whats round the bend.
12 Feb 2009 7:03pm
A walk in the fog is so calming, even a little daring at times. This is a very beautiful image.
12 Feb 2009 7:24pm

13 Feb 2009 12:03am
This has a really quiet... muffled feeling to it. Like when you are here, you can hear your own heartbeat. I originally thought it was gloomy and spooky, but it really isn't. Very tranquil. Very nice.
13 Feb 2009 12:15am
The mist and dark contrasts really create the mood here. Excellent capture Sharon. You really know how to compose these moody shots. Love your creations.
