Great tonal range, a little dark for me, nice the way the shot leads into the 2 corners, by the way my account name has changed but it's still me (Peter Miller)

@P J W Miller: Thanks Peter. I was processing in the dark last night and all looked well to me. By the time I looked again in the morning I did see it was a tad on the dark side, so I replaced it with a slightly lighter one. I appreciate your feedback :)
Fabulous perspective and shadow play leading to the right of that steep street. Wonderfully observed, Sharon. Have a wonderful weekend

@EYES WIDE SHUT: Thank you Paul! Delving into the archives a bit here. I've had a pretty brutal last few weeks of work, and very little time for much else. My weekend starts at 3pm today, needless to say, I. Can't. Wait.

@Hans: Thank you :) If I remember correctly, yes, I do believe it's a restaurant, although I didn't go inside.
merci pour vos commentaires flatteurs...
Votre travail est également intéressant... cette image semble toute droite sortie d'un ouvrage d'Edgar Alan Poe..

Every country and multiple cities must have structures shaped like this. They're very eye catching and not always easy to capture. Nice...

Wonderful quote for a wonderful place. I bet if the walls could speak of the place inside there would be story after story to tell.
I reflect upon your saying here. This is where I am in my life. Closing doors is hard but I am having opening new ones.

interesting shot. I might turn the quote around though, and say: "the doors that are open or closed to us decide the lives we live." But then, I'm a cynic.
