I really love your gritty B&W's, that's one crazy window display and that chap looks positively please to be in the frame, nice work as always.

Happily, this charming guy seems to have understand it's exactly the contrary of the quote (when you get slowly older/wiser) : the tiniest thing, air, smile, view, and moment share with loved hearts are so much to feel more than happy... Great shot/angle/find !

The legend eats the passer-by. Magnificent black and white. It is like a metaphor of the aggressive publicity.
Greetings

A nice picture by itself, but your quote to go with it elevates it to the level of a truly great image! Wonderfully seen!

A gray image offset by the happy walker. Self driven urban advertising, soon to be copies for an ad campaign for a major corporation. :D

@Viewfinder: hmmmm....good question ;)
BC!!! hello friend, how are you? i hope this finds you well? i know it has been a good amount of time, but i am finally here in new york city and trying to allow it to thrill me as opposed to overwhelm me!! there is so much to see and do -- and i just love that fact!! :) a superb shot here, of course i expect nothing less from you!! your photos so beautifully capture the moods your are feeling while the photos are shot. they are full of hope, glory, anger, the mystical and a touch of sadness... but they are always so well expressed, so well delivered!!! just a beautiful 'rhythm' of the hand painted lettering on the windows here. love the texture of the limestone wall and the angle of the shot!! keep up the superb work as always!! i am sad we are no longer on the same coast, no longer the same time-zone... :( but no worries, we still have cyberspace! speak soon and god bless!! x

That's one way to advertise what you sell! A terrific shot, the darkness of tone really adds to the ambience of the scene and the man striding along is a wonderful touch. Fabulous, Sharon. Have a great weekend

I really think the store might do better if they advertised:-) Neat capture, Sharon.

Great B&W street shot! I think you made his day by including him in the picture. Maybe it's his 15 minutes in the sun...... ;-))

Great street capture, I love that wall of ads that in this perspective looks like some kind of graffiti.
They will do anything to make you look for something to buy :)

I'm a typography nut, so I especially like this one. Wonderful.
Your photos stand completely alone and need nothing to help them, but as I become more obsessed, I wish for a word or two now and then on what you were thinking or where you were for a shot. You have to give the fans what they desire!

Ha love all the stuff on the window! Its like they listed their whole inventory! :)
