Beautiful treatment of a lovely image.

Des couleurs qui ressemblent à l'automne et qui cadrent bien avec les montants des fenêtres de cette maison que la nature a décidé de faire sienne ...

Wonderful sensation in these colors ! Love that tiny window, Alice in wonderland, wow !

I like since you have put off center the composition. And since cause that the view crosses all the photography. Beautiful saturation in those red colors.
Greetings

Stunning! I wish my house was covered like that. It is like a cave in Mother Nature's arms. Lovely.

Beautiful treatament on colors.
Love that half window, it communicates an unsettling feeling that works 100% with the compo.

@Polydactyle: thank you :)
Good work. Although I must say that I keep having the same problem as always with your photos: They are too dark on my screen. It only happens with your photos, does it happen to anyone else? Is it my screen? Why only with your photos? Just trying to help :)

@xavier cardell: Thanks so much Xavier :) I'm sorry but I don't think I can be of any help. I personally find that Am3 lightens things for me. My images generally are dark (that's just the way I shoot and process) and I do view them on both of my Macs which do have bright monitors. But I also look at them on the PC at work, which for me makes everything quite dark, but then that's how everyones images look to me, but never too dark. Thanks for your observation.
Oh, Sharon....this is so beautiful. What a pretty window and so perfectly framed with such beauty. The colors are gorgeous.

This is a lovely photo, love the colours and the window is beautiful.
23 Apr 2009 2:28pm
fantastic colours and great light. wonderful texture
23 Apr 2009 2:29pm
love the dark tones, almost like twiglight. theres a sinister twist to this and I like it!
23 Apr 2009 2:44pm
I think the darkness of your images is part of the strength of your overall style. I love the deep colors and shadowy nature of this scene. Goes well with the verse.

couleur des feuillage sur ce mur sombre, des taches colorées qui créent une envolée pour ne pas perdre pied dans cett atmosphère un peu triste... la lumière est tout pret.. juste à portée de regard ..au delà des feuillages.
23 Apr 2009 3:24pm
it does seem haunted. beautiful and evocative as always.
23 Apr 2009 3:34pm
great composition. I see that you have increased the darkness in the image to give it a creepy effect. good stuff.
23 Apr 2009 4:30pm
That's stunning, Sharon. Colours and composition are sublime
23 Apr 2009 5:06pm
Great colors, Sharon! Love the pushed blaks. And.. you and I are kind of season confused today ;0)
23 Apr 2009 5:24pm
@Nataly: Thanks Nataly. Funny thing about this...it was actually taken in April. Not sure what kind of vine resides on this hotel, but it's leaves are that colour through most of the year. Autumn in spring, gotta love that :)
Wonderful capture. The colours are superb!
23 Apr 2009 5:43pm
Wow! This is stunning! Love the tones and mood captured.... Fantastic work!
23 Apr 2009 5:48pm
This is a super image, because you use a limitated color palette (3-4, colors are not a sur-information, disturbing). In fact, you constructed this color image the way you make a BW image. I like this processus ;)
btw ,About callibration, dark yes, too dark never! (same thing than you Sharon, on my mac with a Quato hardware callibration screen, it's perfect, a bit darker on other not callibrated machines)
23 Apr 2009 7:38pm
An image with incredible rendition, it really is superb.
23 Apr 2009 8:23pm
Beautiful composition! Great colors too.
23 Apr 2009 8:53pm
We have similar vines planted so it covers a building but not this red and robust. Beautiful shot.
23 Apr 2009 9:22pm
Just beautiful work! I love the deep shadows and tones in this image- fantastic!!
23 Apr 2009 11:40pm
i really like this! the reds, blues and browns are so rich. would never have placed this as the Empress. original vision of it.
24 Apr 2009 1:29am
what a delight -- to have a window enshrouded by vine and branch!! :) a land of tales, magic and make believe!! faaabulous!
24 Apr 2009 2:36am
Wonderful colours and great processing! This is a fantastic image!
24 Apr 2009 2:10pm
Very nice. Did you try cropping out the top window?
26 Apr 2009 8:08pm
@twodot: Thank you. I did consider it, but then it was too symmetrical for me so I decided against it.
