It's always interesting to see what others see.

so eye catching - the form draws you in, and then you notice all the details. Great job.

Loaded with mystery and intrigue...disturbing...and very David lynch!

Oh, Sharon, one of my fav at your place (well, they are so many now ;o)) even if we can feel uncomfortable in front of such a pic... I love it ! The play of white plastic flesh against the striped fabric is so original & dynamic. Masterpiece for me !

You have such a philosophical view towards the things you see and capture. Exceptional brilliant shot.

Can't quite put my finger on what I like about this. You will probably think I am crazy but it reminds me of a scene from Belsen or auschwitz, an image of a non person lying dead and in the beginning stages of bodily disintegration, this is enhanced by the linear backdrop

You amaze me over and over. This is a little disturbing and beautiful at the same time. Masterpiece!!

Wonderfully seductive and suggestive. Love the contrasting blacks and whites.

Strange but powerful feeling through this unusual scene...

HA! GOOD ONE! You are great at finding the most intriguing elements and creating something extraordinary out of them. Great job from beginning to end on this one.

A very creative, eye-catching image! An excellent job of seeing how this might be shot to produce a unique statement...and you pulled it off beautifully!

Excellent composition - begs the question is it found legs or lost body?

At first glance in the thumbnail I thought you started working with nudes ;0) , but when I opened it i was pleasantly surprised. This shot is a dream on the edge of reality. It looks almost disturbing, but still esthetically pleasing. Great composition and process.

The thumbnail looked like a woman about to give birth.
I have a new favourite of your stuff.

What can I say Sharon... what amazing eye you have!!! A scene most of us would likely miss but was captured and superbly turned into such a powerful image - it actually got me into a deep feeling of melancholy!

You don't see a pregnant mannequin everyday, especially a naked one. :-) But what I like most is your title, brilliant!

Half a body! Certainly makes a more powerful impression than if it were complete. Nice framing, asymmetrical, as is the body.

I keep on thinking what the missing torso would look like and what gesture it might have. Perhaps this is what Confucius was talking about... Nice shot.

This totally creeps me out...but in a good way! lol Seriously, this is ART. Well done.

@Toni: Thanks so much Toni! I'm glad to hear this, as that was my intention :)
Mannequins talk to me... I discover here that not seeing the "face" is even more fascinating. The rextile seems to hide. Excellent, I love it!

I sort of developed a similar view in the process of learning to draw. You've gathered quite a following.
