The narrowness creates such a mysterious atmosphere ! We feel so close to these mannequins... Light & B&W once again more than exxxcellent ! Have a nice week, my dear*

11 May 2009 6:52am
Hope no one saw you composing this one, I like the closeness of this and the POV is excellent, sort of juxtaposed and super in mono, the shadow detail is super too

The words of Warhol drive us to see the deep sense of this image, and the fact that the mannequins wear sexy lingery adds mystery to the whole.

11 May 2009 12:45pm
So which one did you get? Or both? I hope there was someone else paid for the bill...and dinner...and watched you wear them later that night... :-)
11 May 2009 12:48pm
@Ti: Haha! No, no shopping or dinner was involved in the making of this shot...only as the title says :/
Très beau cadrage! Belle lumière sur les manequins! Excellente composition!

I like the composition in this shot with the one way in the back and the lighting and color toning are perfect, but I hope Warhol is wrong ... don't want to spend the rest of my life in a department store! Hope you found something you like?! ;)

High town, high street connection, with clothes at the top of my list (Shopping PW)~Excellent B&W, love the POV!
11 May 2009 2:08pm

11 May 2009 6:29pm
@Christopher: Thank you! You've just gotta love some of the things Warhol has said ;)
How did you get that deep line around your waist & cool Photoshopping your head out :))) Haha. I really like Warhol's quote, I wouldn't mind end up in a department store/mall. As long as they restock the place regularly so I don't get bored. Nice shot.
11 May 2009 6:30pm
@Howard F.: You made me giggle, thanks Howard. Winding up in a department store sounds like a bit of a nightmare to me!
Department store, hum... why not...
I much prefer the store you gave us, the lingerie seem lost on the mannequins, cold vs warm, this is a bit sad.
