I could not resist this man and the cool way about him and his accordion...he took no notice of me at all...
This photo and 2 others have been entered in a local Main Street Photo Contest and I'd really appreciate your vote so that I can become a finalist. If you like this image please take the time to vote and I will be forever grateful. Thanks everyone!

I wish we had more street performers. It's only a rare occasion when I see one and never with this instrument. I've loved these since I was a kid. Neat portrait.

@dobbino: Thanks so much Rob, for you kind words and your vote. I know it's kind of a hassle so I certainly appreciate your effort :) I don't usually enter photo contests, but the prize of that Freg Herzog print is just too good of an opportunity to pass up. Cheers!
Very cool dude just loving the sound of his own music

OMG, I used to play one of these. I had a love/hate relationship with it. I loved playing it, but hated it because I was the ONLY kid in my school playing one. Great shot and you've got my votes!
13 May 2009 5:41am
@Toni: You did? My dad plays this instrument, although I've not heard him play in a few years now. But whenever I hear someone playing an accordion it brings back such wonderful childhood memories :) Thanks so much Toni!
He is in his own world! I will head over to vote now! Great image.
13 May 2009 1:08pm
very nice, i love the opposition between wall and windows lines and curves of "music"
13 May 2009 1:09pm
A cool shot indeed. I like the softness of this image. Whishing you luck with the contest...
13 May 2009 4:55pm
The guy looks so engulfed in his music, with those glasses building a wall between his "eyes" (soul) and us.
Nice work!
13 May 2009 8:00pm
Normally, you wouldn't think accordion as a cool and hip instrument to play. It's always violin, guitar, drum, etc. But this guy's rocking it like Ray!
13 May 2009 9:39pm
@Howard F.: Thanks Howard...I thought so too :)
Great candid shot here.. lovely lines, patterns and colors too, great work!
