seems strange to see a person sitting so close to the passing car. it's amazing how different cultures can be in the little aspects of life and how similar in the overall scheme of things. really nice capture, sharon.

This is superb Sharon! The entire effect is wonderful! ;-)
21 May 2009 11:35am
Excellent processing... the lady sitting there texting while life passes by.. cool
21 May 2009 11:43am
J'aime beaucoup cette dame bien vêtue dans un endroit plutôt glauque. Le flou dans l'image ajoute de l'atmosphère à ce lieu. Superbe.
21 May 2009 12:24pm
I like the composition and the light a lot, although I must admit the post process is not my style, I hpe you don't mind my honesty ;-)

21 May 2009 3:13pm
The diffused-glow creates a sensitive image, maybe she's alone.
21 May 2009 3:18pm
Nice processing here! i love it! the softness, and the B&W, all these make the picture special!
21 May 2009 4:00pm

21 May 2009 4:11pm
Great pic, Sharon
The contrast between the squalid street, the woman and your amazing post-processing works 100%.

Thnks for give us a free ticket to see it

21 May 2009 8:44pm
Une rue sans trottoir ? apparemment pas très fréquenté, une voiture qui semble passer en douceur et une personne qui à mon humble avis regarde son portable...elle n'était pas génée par votre présence!
Une scene digne d'un film d'action.
21 May 2009 9:34pm
What a dreamy scene.
As if taken from a 1920 classic movie.
Nicely done!
21 May 2009 9:40pm
The flying time.... Attracted by the lady sitting like that!
21 May 2009 11:24pm
A kind of story picture with that woman setting there and the car passing by.
22 May 2009 12:04am
Very, very nice, I admire the processing; many have mentioned its ethereal quality, which I really like too (obviously around your lady subject)... but for me, the darkness (around the car) is really kicking: it looks moody, hard, edgy, I really love it. Great stuff. Enjoyed viewing it my friend.
22 May 2009 12:23am
There is definitely a story being played out here, Sharon. Well done!
22 May 2009 1:05am
A portrait of our times, I find so many people staring down at their phones not even aware that a car has gone by.
22 May 2009 1:11am
I like this picture very much, as the words and music of Pink Floy. Very good processing.
22 May 2009 4:11am
Another excellent image. I like the woman sitting in the corner of the image and the bright light leading the eye down to the end of the alley.
22 May 2009 6:10am
