Beautiful silhouettes while still enough detail in the two persons to make it come alive; very nice!

Well, to answer the singer's question and from what I can see here, it seems like they have been through a lot together --it just comes across. I wish I could could look forward to sitting by a body of water like this 20 years down the road, but our world is such a volatile place...
Beautiful moment nicely captured.

we are moving that way -- i hope it is as beautiful as this!! a gorgeous and wonderfully still moment of deeper consciousness!! very lovely -- and hopeful!

Yesss ... great title for this photo, very touching to see this couple enjoying the view without words (I guess!).

They look very comfortable with each other. Close, but not touching, but without distance, too. Great observation and perfect title and song to go with it.

two and a bit years to go and that could be me lol :) Doesn't look too much of a challenge though, does it? Lovely photo - relaxed and peaceful.

Wonderful and touching backlight capture with this subtle light/shadow play!

Wow, an image that made me stop and think about it a bit. I think when I'm 64, I'll still be collecting cameras and running a photoblog, haha. Very nice shot.

Beautiful calm scene, love the strong contrast, revealing exactly what is necessary to make this shot work.

Great shot. You just get a very strong impression that they are happy together. Very nicely composed too.

We have both a shot about the same theme today... even if the environment and the way of handling this subject are very different.
Lot of emotion in yours with the words of the song...

The song started playing in my head the moment I saw the title, even before I read the lyrics and realized where it's coming from... Isn't it amazing how sometimes people think the same with given such minue clue? :-)
I think sitting on a bench gazing into landscapes/scenary is senior citizens' privilege, although I'm "only" 56 but found myself doing the same from time to time (if the place is right). Sometimes life is a long journey (yet we feel it gone by so fast) and we need to take a break from time to time...
Very touching, Sharon.

Great shooting and title, I hope I may be so luck as these two!

Wow. I would have thought this was a holga with it's surreal effect you've achieved. Love the composition, and the how much is said in the silence.

What a great way to pass some time with the one you love. It is great to have someone to grow old with.

Lovely poignant shot, a picture tells a thousand words and you did it with this one.
22 May 2009 7:15pm
They need not worry if they've been together as long as it seems. This is a brilliant image.
22 May 2009 7:47pm
When we are already 64 it doesn't look all that poetic.
22 May 2009 9:31pm
Great song. Excellent photo. I think the answer is yes. A great eye Sharon.

You break my heart, girl! You capture people and their relationships in a way that always makes me wonder about my future and myself. "Mission accomplished". Great work!
