A quest for true existence ... While setting image!

wonderful capture. there is a strong lonely and definite feel about his pose... standing in the shadow on his own, still, contemplating maybe, or just waiting, while people move past in the sunlight.
29 May 2009 8:47am
Eh bien, monsieur Dapper you look wonderful darlin' ;) love this Sharon

I enjoy how he's enjoying his little solitude in the shade, at least for the moment... Outside, the sun is hot; hastily people walk and talk... yet all you see are faces that are blank, all you hear are noices that you cannot comprehend... Isn't cool to take a short break in this shade?!:-) Love this image much Sharon!

So true. May appear illogic and cruel but how true this is !
A wonderful photography Sharon, so near from Doisneau's spirit. A great photography again, timeless.
Thanks for your enthusiasm today ! ;-)

Your Title makes this almost painful . . but love can hurt at any age (so they tell me).
29 May 2009 2:27pm
He seems isolated and lonely standing there removed from the crowd. Touching.
29 May 2009 2:45pm

A sharp-dressed gentleman, waiting for his date perhaps? Great shot. (Or, he could be some crime boss calling the shots personally ;)

I see a sophisticated and elegant modern day Don Juan "preying" under the shade like an experienced hunter waiting quietly and patiently for his trophy to walk into his trap... :-)
Just look at his well built body for someone his age, you know he's been keeping shape, who needs viagra?!... :-)
30 May 2009 1:26am

31 May 2009 12:21am
I was once told by a wise man to look for love like looking over your shoulder and being surprised by the full moon. It didn't make sense to me at the time (I was too young and foolish). When it comes to love, there are no last chances I believe. I love your ability to tell a story with your photos. A true gift!
31 May 2009 9:32am
