Suggestive image, it's like the photo of a dream or a remembering.
27 Sep 2009 5:55am
I love this wonderful, soft, evocative image...The tones, the composition and treatment is stunning! Is the soft focus a result of panning with a slow shutter or do you achieve this in post?
27 Sep 2009 6:16am
Very creative shot, I like it! As previously mentioned, it does have a dream like quality to it.
27 Sep 2009 6:28am
She's part of the sea and shadows and slowly goes out towards light and another land on her decided pace... Love your silverish mirror, Sharon** Have a very sweet sunday ~

I like the mood, and the grain of the processing. The human figure is definitive for the history of the picture. An image that makes dream. Congratulations.

Real...unreal ... life...dream ...
Very, very nice shot !!!

Between reality and dream, i love the mood, blurred atmosphere and lines, and the way she's running toward her destiny yearningly.
27 Sep 2009 10:22am
Absolutely magical. Like an unconscious consciousness...a dreamy reality. Wonderful!!!
27 Sep 2009 10:40am
Yes, I agree with Paco, Marcie and Sydney: this is an image of a dream. I very like the atmosphere. Do you know Castro Prieto? he's a spanish photogragh (see his series "Extraños").

Got it all: Freedom, loneliness, movement, melancholy, joy ... the list could go on & on. An outstanding composition & a hell of a photograph! Love it, love it, really love it. Thank you. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

This has a Hawaii vibe to it, I don't know why. I think it's because the girl's gesture- her hip kinda dips to one side- that makes me think of the Hula dance :) Nice dreamy & lazy shot. Thanks for subscribing my Posterous blog as well, Sharon :)

Dynamic image those that you give to us. The movement and that grain, bring about a dynamic reaction. The black and white one supports the taking perfectly
Warm greetings

Wonderful smudgework . . there is a strange sense that the image is alive and developing before our eyes !
28 Sep 2009 10:58am
Wonderful contrasts and very dream like. here's something very sad about it though that I can't quite put my finger on but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the lone woman. Nice work anyway.
28 Sep 2009 11:02am
Brilliant. Framing, compo, light, contrast, post process....
28 Sep 2009 11:48am

Hi Sharon,
Excellent blurry pic.
Love how female figure is joined into the scene. All elements linked by the blur.
Terrific ;o)

Remembrance of other days; now always there,
melancholic and just a little out of frame.
30 Sep 2009 6:05pm
Oh so dreamy :) Even before reading the other comments I perceived this lovely scene as dreamy. The grain and light are excellent ingredients of the feeling here too.
