Encore une compo aux peits oignons. J'adore particulièrement la poutre qui pose une superbe horizontale.

looks so trap-like! reflection from the water, looking on, but not a single way out, nice way articulated.

H°w °riginal ! Th°se r°und shapes in dynamic repetiti°ns, reflecti°ns included, create, with the man standing still, a Kafkaesque m°°d the title and reference t° the auth°r °f the Bell Jar enhance. °f c°urse I l°ve this image a l°t, but if y°u w°n't be able to pass thr°ugh all the little "O" in this c°mment (damn t°° little), the character °f y°ur str°ng image sh°uldn't be that scared : Illusi°n °nly seems to keep him pris°ner. There's always a way °ut... At least a way IN ? (l°ve th°se giant curler hair-like shapes a l°t !)

this is just something special as a composition ... and yes as has been mentioned a Kafkaresque feel.
Forboding fearful frustration flooding his mind.

i love the way the water reflects
like a reluctant decision, where
there is no turning back,
but no easy steps ahead neither.

It seems to be a hostile universe where the man has his place in this image. Beautiful effect doubled by a reflection.
5 Feb 2010 11:40am
I like the composition and the exposure. May I ask you who he is ? I mean, does he act for you ? Is he your model ? Or is he just a man you found there ?
