A strong silhouette, nicely placed in this black and white scene. What might those thoughts be?
You often raise interesting questions in your images. :-)

Wonderfully processed. I love how she emerges out of the darkness, darkness herself, the light ahead, which she faces, arms at her side, ready for what comes.

You have mastered the art of filtering out all but The Moment here. The Moment is All.

Great, Sharon. What strucks me immediately is the fact that this silhouette leaves so much room to think, so many stories going round my head. Thanks for opening & free my mind. Grande! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Some thoughts comes to my mind "reading" this post. It´s interesting how full of expression and possibilities to understand the expressions of the silhoutte is in this picture.

I like the high contrast. Nice silhouette and lead in lines of the pavement.

This shot definitely has a pensive and introspective feel to it Sharon! Well done! ;-)

there's something odd about the position of her arms, makes her look like she's slingin' a gun :) nice shot!!!

@Elaine-: Indeed! Thanks Elaine!
your subject is as dark and mysterious as her thoughts...while the world around her lights up. wonderful

Wonderful image, with a very insightful thought in that quote.

She seems to be so... light, almost like a plane, taking off...
Must be in love. ;-))))

Great title for this wonderful shot with the very dark and clear silhouette

Aren't we always alone in thought ? And how i agree with the caption too... I like the way the walks, her gloves (if i see correctly) as if ready to take some invisible guns out of her belt, some lonesome modern Calamity Jane crossing the light, since it's now the surrounding that is dark, seems it's her inner being & thoughts, i crave to see her in full light, but let's be patient... Dead leaves & sun manage to cope each one with another all around her... and the gate-like fence is all open... Her thoughts only are still in the dark here, I feel confident for her (plus her pace is beautiful). Nice week to U*

@k@: Thank you as always Karine. Your comment got me thinking and looking at this from another perspective. I wasn't able to put my finger on it at the time, but there was something about her stance. Alone yes, alone in thought, of course. But she looks like she is on a mission here, so I changed the title to "warrior" I think it's more fitting.
Looks like a bad hair day... Nice shot.

@Howard F.: When it's windy, every day is a bad hair day ;P
A nice silhouette, but you can still see details-- in the walkway, for instance. Very effective.

Good silhouette, it looks like the urban warrior :)

{Ah I feel so touched, Sharon - it changes the message utterly and yet... a real warrior is always alone in thought, isn't she ?... i love to see her again this morning on such 'mission', a word that meant a lot for me those long last months of hospitals & all). Have a nice day & thanks so much for all your sensitive comments*}

A concealment of identity?
