An image to feel, absolutely, along with your title & caption it's so true & so moving. I love the sweetly curving fence & that beautiful B&W&Light of yours on the top of the hand-rail really calls for a caress. Marvelously sensitively shot, from deep black to bright white... Have a nice Wedn., dear Sharon.

Du noir profond au blanc cramé, la merveilleuse torsade de la rampe comme un raccourci de notre progression vers la lumière. Splendide.

The dark and the light are in your picture linked together by the railing and the silhoutte moves either towards the light or the dark. It´s somewhat difficult to decide, or up to the viewer to see it as he wants. And then combine it with Cohens word and maybee find differentinterpretations. An open image and text, is often more interesting to come back to.

Going into the light. Leading rails. A lovely Leonrad Cohen tune. Can it getter any better? Your compositions of lonesomeness, hope & sadness are one of a kind & always going straight to the heart, Sharon! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
