The title is a great match with this fantastic photo! Love the dreamy atmosphere created by the fog and a beautiful composition.

I love how the tree makes like a protective arch as they pass by, while the image slowly fades from clear (reality) to fog (dream) along with the curve, strong one & sweet at the same time. Many contradictions work well together in the same frame, no fight, the light melts them all together. Just have to pass the frontier (curve) from reality to dream... and back (and i'm personally enjoying more and more the way back ;) Have a nice week & dreams*

Here you make the dreamers appear to walk in a soft serene world of their own choosing...you make life SEEM easy for these dreamers!!

For reasons others have rightly mentioned, it is an excellent image and composition but it is more than that . . the fog seems to be carrying their very dreams along with them . . powerful stuff, Sharon.

Magnifique, quelle douceur dans l'estompage, on dirait de la soie.

There is a wonderful mood in this fabuolous picture, certainly something very like a dream. I love that quote, but I had to think twice to agree with it.

Beautiful image...and it made my mind wander on a tangent. I wonder if dogs dream? Do they long for afternoons of running free and chasing birds? Only to be disappointed when they have to walk on a leash in real life?

beautiful atmosphere indeed.... i like that tree, it does create that type of dreamy feeling. the walking silhouettes add extra passion to the shot!

I really love all the curves you captured here. From the tree to the path to the water--one beautiful curve after another. Masterful!

@Daniel: Thanks Daniel. Me too...there were more of them creating an incredible mood, but the storm of December 2006 blew 2 of the biggest ones down :/
Perfect title for this wonderful shot, it has a nice calm, soothing and romantic feel to it

Albeit rather gloomy, it has a wonderful atmosphere of autumnal mellowness.

The dreamers in a beautiful dream world! What's a dream world without a dog? They dream, too.

One of the most elegant trees I've seen. So perfectly placed behind this couple.

Our paths might only cross once in a while Sharon, but it's always a pleasure to view your subtle and elegant compositions. I hope you are well and looking after my favourite city. This is a gorgeous and serene frame which beckons me in. You have captured the ambiance and atmosphere perfectly, as though I could reach out and touch the fog and make a mist with my warm breath. Ah yes, I have alays been a dreamer, and RJW's words are sadly so true.

How do you do it? Time and time again the perfect shot from any type of scene; I'm so jealous :-)

@Hoshisato: Thank you...you are very kind. It's just that I don't post a lot of photos, so maybe that's why it seems that way to you :)
The sheer melancholy sets my heart on fire. This beauty is pure poetry, Sharon. So brilliant it leaves me speechless. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

so mysterious in the fog, seems too cold for me to go for a walk ;o)
