Love this black and white beach scene that emphasizes the lone figure who looks deep in thought.

This is beautiful. I like the mood with the B&W tones and lonely figure walking away from us, "out of the picture"

The image alone makes me feel so tender about it... Her pace, the tones, your compo... Very tender image.
The quote & title bring more sadness, i know nightmares that last, and yet, beside them, life can be sweetened, with time only. Beautiful depth of feeling, Sharon.

Wonderful and poetic, both words and picture. Walking along the shore, listening to the waves rollin´ in. What a suitable place for conremplation. And you captured it all so very good in your picture!

Your work always packs an emotional punch and is most aspirational! This image is outstanding with the compressed perspective, the wonderful tonal range and timing! The text is so perfectly matched! Brilliant!!

Just curious: Did you sell your D70? I did mine and still get a sinking feeling when I see my old pictures or read 'D70' on someone's Exif:( There was something about it the same as my F2 many years ago....

A beautiful line of white foam that contrasts dramatically with the black garb of the lady. I see hope in this solemn scene. Definitely, not a nightmare. Beautifully done, Sharon.

"When nothing is lost nothing is free / Its just another lonely Sunday by the sea / Its just another lonely Sunday by the sea" (Langhorne Slim)
Walking all by myself. A kind of healing photograph because I know I'm never alone. You'll be there, right behind us, following & painting a hundred beauties of our lonesomeness. Great, Sharon! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

This is a strong composition, well framed and with tonality meeting the small drama of both waves and human being.
