Great scale effect.
With the words of David Sylvian, it's very cool.

The gull and the man. They have their own height and own direction to see.

Thank you so much for the link. I love history, especially of the people who inhabited the land before we did.

Incredible ! One may be frightened to see the whole thing collapse with this gull on top !
What an equilibrium. An amazing one to tell the truth. Like ours. If it may be compared to our life and presence here. I don't know if I'm really clear... a philosophic reflexion suugested here (for me).
It's god to see you and read you Sharon. :-)

We may stand and wait, but, that bird is definitely resting on its laurels! Happy ST!

Looks like someone came around and rearranged Stonehenge. Wonder what the old ones will have to say about that.?

Seems like a mysterious brand new letter in the alphabet... Love your compo. The solid & fragile all in one. The question of balance in life in general - so many levels offered here to read your image, Sharon.

a special monument and extraordinary processing! top!

The B&W rendering is perfect for this photo. I enjoy the contrast of this cold and huge way marker and the bird, with it's softness and freedom, using it as a vantage point. Very poetic and well seen! Good work!

Fascinating structure, has an otherworldly feel. Like your use of light. Amazing how large this structure is.

The juxtaposition of all the elements (stone structure, bird, person) coupled with the poem, is just brilliant.
