And the sky is deep and blue.
Won't you take me there with you…"

Interesting framing, even if I don't understand what is this track .

Dramatic capture and a marvellous composition. There is so much to wonder about, what is that track in the sand...but they got to the place where it looks like the sun never goes out! This is great storytelling!

Despite the distance, one feels part of the thoughts of those two sitting out there . . and what a lovely free space they have to think within. You are very good at making space a dimension of your compositions - and, as we know, space is never empty.

La curva nos conduce a las dos figuras ... y al mar.

Maybe you already knew how much i love this - the textures of the foreground, the low light, the perspective & distance to join in a blink with that horizon of pure light... I love this, utterly ! Thanks for sharing the peaceful feel & i wish you a delightful end of week, thanks for your comment, always a pleasure to feel you around***

There is a wonderful sense of mystery in this shot Sharon! Great grey scale tones and textures to go with this trench! ;-)

exceptional beach scene. very minimal.

Beautiful capture of shadow and light. Love the feel of solitude and infinite space.

Romance and solitude. The sand is the grand feature here....such grays, such texture, I can imagine my feet in it...and it is slightly cool now as the evening comes on. Enticing.

Why am I thinking Ingmar Bergman, Seventh Seal?
Sky, horizon, beach/sand, track. (Actually two tracks. Don't like the tyre track, think you should have scuffed it out. Or hey, is this rational real-world reality, creeping in to ground my fantasies?)
And so much flits like ghosts through my mind, looking at your picture. To me it is a picture not a capture, didn't like that adjective. We're not netting wildlife in Africa and caging it.
Owl and the pussy cat, Macbeth, Dune . . .
Ooh boy you stirred up some stuff with this simple recipe, Sharon!

Nice to see my friend Hugh waxing so lyrically...I think the tire tracks lead the eye with great intent to the couple watching the beautiful sky. Cool Shot Sharon.

I like the curved line, the composition and the b&w work

I love the way you've framed that channel running toward the people in that big arc. It reminds of the sic-fi show I saw featuring land sharks. Oh, oh!

@rian: I think that must have been some kind of drainage thing…I really don't know. There wasn't a second track.

Nice composition with dramatic atmosphere. Our glance fellows the track in the sand until the couple sat in front of the sea, well seen !
